Call for papers: Engineering Education Special Issue Deadline: 12 September 2016
The discussion of the meaning and
usefulness of Engineering Education
for advancing the engineering fields
is being increasingly discussed all
over the world. This discussion is
fundamentally interdisciplinary,
between researchers from different
fields and areas, some from science
and others from human sciences:
Engineering, Science, Business,
Information Systems, Education
Sciences, and Psychology.
Following recommendations from
Engineering professional
associations like SEFI and the ALE
network, political organizations
like UNESCO, and national and
international accreditation
organizations of programs like ABET
and EURACE, this discussion has been
stressing the Engineering Education
Active Learning importance.
This special issue welcomes
submissions that focus on the
following issues (not limited to),
related to Engineering Education
methodologies and principles:
Best papers submitted to
PAEE/ALE’2016 (http://paee.dps.uminho.pt/)
and ICIEOM’2016 (http://icieom.org/)
conferences, with themes related to
this special issue, will be invited
to submit to this special issue a
deeply revised and extended work.
