This event joins together the International Symposium on Project Approaches in Engineering Education (PAEE'2020) and the Active Learning in Engineering Education Workshop (ALE'2020). The PAEE symposium is organised by the PAEE association and the Department of Production and Systems of the University of Minho, Portugal, since 2009, and aims to join teachers, researchers and professionals concerned with Engineering Education. ALE (http://www.ale-net.org/) is an international network of engineering educators, initiated in 2000, dedicated to improving engineering education through active learning.

PAEE and ALE have been organized in different parts of the world, to enhance Active Learning, Problem and Project Learning in Engineering Education through active involvement of participants in hands-on sessions, workshops, debates, industry panels, poster and paper sessions, student project awards.

PAEE/ALE 2020 is an International Conference on active learning in engineering education. It will be in Pattaya, Thailands' resort  city on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Pattaya is about 118 kilometers (73 miles) from Suwannabhumi International Airport. Travelling to Pattaya is easy and convenient as there are plenty of caps, vans and buses from the airport as well as Bangkok. Within two hours, you will arrive at a beautiful beach in Pattaya, a host to a beguiling range of attractions from ancient Thai traditions to modern adventures.
